Satya Sundar Mohanty

Satya is the principal consultant, based out of Gurgaon (near New Delhi), tasked with leading the demand side research practice at CyberMedia Research. He is responsible for the execution of large, end-user surveys and stakeholder studies for developing a deeper understanding of buyer expectations, and perceptions about various business and consumer services and solutions across the India / South Asia geography.

Prior to his current stint with CMR, Satya has worked with MART and IDC. Satya holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

Satya has in-depth understanding and experience is the use of various statistical techniques and applied multi-variate analysis techniques in a number of live projects. During his stint in MART he developed a market planning tool ‘MART MAS’ using multivariate techniques applied to Census data, which was successfully sold as a priced offering to customers. Satya has handled projects for clients from diverse business segments such as FMCG, Agri-business, Healthcare, Banking & Finance, IT & Telecoms, Social Sector etc. He has rich exposure to a range of research studies such on Usage and Attitude, Customer Satisfaction Measurement, Employee Satisfaction Assessment, Consumer Segmentation, Brand Equity Tracking, Price Sensitivity Measurement, Market Size Forecasting.
