Gurugram/New Delhi, February 2, 2025. A new study by CyberMedia Research (CMR) reveals that real-time visibility remains a top challenge for 57% of organizations surveyed, underscoring the urgent need for enhanced digital infrastructure and data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, 37% of organizations have set aside dedicated budgets for supply chain digitalization, reflecting a strong commitment to transformation.

Commenting on the study findings, Anil Chopra, Senior Vice President (SVP) at CyberMedia Research (CMR) said, “Organizations are increasingly acknowledging that supply chain digitalization is not just a competitive edge but a business necessity. While many have made strides in modernizing their supply chains, gaps in real-time visibility and supplier integration continue to pose significant obstacles. Organizations must take a proactive stance in adopting new-age technologies to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and drive sustainable growth. The companies that embrace this shift today will lead the industry tomorrow.”

“Supply chain is one of the key pillars of any organization—without it, businesses fail to deliver products and services in line with evolving market dynamics. As we enter the era of the 5th Industrial Revolution and Agentic AI, new capabilities are emerging from the fusion of various technologies. To thrive in this landscape, organizations must build intelligent, immersive, predictive, agile, and resilient supply chains. The journey begins with assessing the supply chain’s lean digital quotient to identify its digital strengths and gaps. This baseline serves as the foundation for a strategic blueprint, ensuring a seamless transition toward a digitally optimized supply chain,” added V. Srinivasa Rao (VSR), Chief Digital Advisor at CyberMedia Research (CMR).
