Gurugram/New Delhi, December 05, 2025. According to the CMR India Consumer SSD Market Review Report for Q3 2025, the India internal SSD market recorded a 1% QoQ growth and 48% Growth YoY in shipments. external SSD shipments surge by 52% YoY in the same period.
According to Mukesh Sharma, Senior Analyst, Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), CyberMedia Research (CMR), “India’s consumer SSD market maintained steady momentum in Q3 2025, with internal SSDs showing stable growth and external SSDs expanding at a healthy pace. NVMe solutions continued to gain traction, while SATA drives remained central to mainstream demand. Growth was supported by rising adoption of AI-enabled PCs, higher SSD content per device, and the transition to newer NAND technologies offering better capacities and performance. Supply remained tight amid broader global demand, leading brands to prioritize strategic allocations. SSD Flash Market Highlights Q3 2025:
Internal SSD Market: SanDisk maintained the top spot with a 12% share in the internal SSD market, while Crucial secured the second position with 9%, underscoring a closely balanced competitive landscape. Lesser-known brands collectively captured 68% of the market in Q3 2025, highlighting the strong presence of emerging and value-driven players
External SSD Market: SanDisk maintained its leadership with a 63% market share, followed by Samsung in second place with 17% market share.
