Importance of AI in Business

Jitesh Chauhan, the new President of the forum, says, “During my tenure as President, along with the members of Bthe oard, ISODA will prioritize AI enablement through curated workshops, expert sessions, and partnerships with AI solution providers. Our goal is to ensure every member is not only AI-aware but AI-ready—both for internal transformation and experience client success.” Jitesh mentions that after recalling his recent visit to a member’s office, where they had implemented a simple AI-driven chatbot to handle customer queries. “What struck me was how this small change freed up their team to focus on strategic tasks, while customer satisfaction improved significantly. It reinforced my belief that AI doesn’t have to be complex to be impactful—it just needs to be purposeful.”, he said.

Focus is On Four Key Areas

Some of the key areas where ISODA is planning to focus in the coming days, according to Jitesh, are:

Regional Expansion – ISODA’s strength lies in its diversity. The new team will actively expand its footprint across emerging regions, bringing more IT entrepreneurs into the fold. By empowering local chapters and fostering regional leadership, we aim to create a truly pan-India network that reflects the vibrancy of our industry. The regional Secretaries in each region are aggressively doting-out plans to expand the members at the regional levels.

Digital Enablement – ISODA will support members in adopting technologies like AI, cloud, and cybersecurity through curated learning programs, expert-led sessions, and access to digital tools. Under the able leadership of Vice Chairman Vimesh Alvani, we are working on how members can adopt Digital.

Industry Partnerships – The forum will strengthen its collaboration with technology principals, OEMs, and solution providers. Through structured engagement platforms like ISODA Connect. This task of Industry partnership is driven by the Vice President, Mr. Lalit Choudhary, who has a good relationship with the Industry.

Enhanced Member Services – We want every ISODA member to feel supported, empowered, and future-ready. This task of Membership Services is driven by the Secretary, Mr. Pradeep Daga.

Some of the activities include ISODA Connect Digital Magazine, joint go-to-market programs that help members and principals expand reach and impact, and organizing feedback forums where members can share real-world insights to help principals refine their offerings.

“ISODA must be a proactive stakeholder in shaping India’s digital future. We will establish a Policy & Advocacy Council to engage with government bodies and regulatory authorities under the Leadership of ISODA Chairman Mr. Vinod Kumar. We will collaborate with ministries and industry associations on initiatives like Digital India, MSME digitization, and cybersecurity awareness. We are working closely with other associations like Gesia, PCAIT, FITAG, NASSCOM, and other industry associations on this.  Our aim is to ensure that ISODA’s collective expertise contributes meaningfully to national-level decisions.”

Speaking on addressing the challenges and opportunities posed by emerging technologies for the ISODA member community, he said, “The ISODA under its leadership team will create a technology intelligence hub to track trends and assess their impact on member businesses, offer transition support programs to help members adopt new technologies like GenAI, edge computing, and blockchain, promote responsible innovation, ensuring members are equipped to deploy solutions that are secure, inclusive, and sustainable and also encourage cross-member collaboration to share learnings and accelerate adoption.”

“As President of ISODA, I believe our community has the talent, vision, and unity to shape the future of India’s IT landscape. Together, we would innovate with courage and grow with integrity. We have an able Management committee to bring in change and get ISODA to the next Level.”, Jitesh concluded.
