V. Srinivasa Rao (VSR) is an accomplished digital transformation leader, entrepreneur, author, and community builder with over three decades of leadership experience in technology, innovation, and business strategy. He currently serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of BT&BT and is the Chairman of the Smart Cities Working Group at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), India. Widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to digital transformation, VSR played a pivotal role as Senior Vice President and de facto Chief Digital Officer at Tech Mahindra, where he architected large-scale digital enterprise initiatives across 25 countries and led transformative programs across 19 business units.

VSR’s exceptional journey includes instrumental roles at top global firms like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, iGATE, and Satyam Computers. His name was featured in Fortune 500 India (2012) as one of the “Rubber Souls” instrumental in the Satyam turnaround story. As a consultant and executive coach, he advises CEOs, CXOs, and policymakers on digital business strategy, smart city frameworks, and blockchain applications. He is also a member of the Bureau of Indian Standards working on blockchain smart contract standards and serves in strategic advisory capacities with multiple organizations, including government and academia.

A passionate innovator, VSR is the inventor of the management philosophy “Lean Digital Thinking” and the architect of several digital platforms such as Lean Digital Quotient Finder, myVoiceToday, QEnhancer, CoInnovator, and Platform Weaver. His extensive community involvement includes leadership roles in the Project Management Institute (PMI), TiE Hyderabad, and the FTCCI IT Taskforce. He was also the chief architect of the International Institute of Digital Technologies (IIDT), a Government of Andhra Pradesh initiative aimed at nurturing digital talent and innovation.

VSR has earned numerous accolades, including the PMI Global Community Award and the Indywood Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship.
