Could you share with us your story behind how you came about to start this business?
Though I was part of the IT industry for several years, I always yearned to do something that would benefit the surrounding people. I was on constant research on how I could be part of an industry that bonds with nature. After weighing the pros and cons of every other industry that I could work with, I finally opted for something that could be a boon to curb several health issues and lifestyle disorders. Though the nutraceutical industry was new to me, the passion in me to learn to heal and cure gave me the strength and confidence to attend training programmes. This led to the genesis of Sattvic Lifestyle, to facilitate bonding with nature and spreading the wings of well-being.

What inspired you to choose these two products?
Today, there’s no dearth of medical issues. I always believed that nature is a treasure trove of things that can cure, heal, and restore good health. Instead of looking out for something artificial, why not opt for something that nature gives us in pristine form? That thought was the driving force behind narrowing down to Spirulina and Cordyceps Militaris. We focus on supplying high-quality products that can help promote health and well-being across the globe.

What recipes are you on the lookout using your products?
I strive to change the concept of consuming supplements in the form of tablets or capsules. I am on the lookout for healthy incorporation of Spirulina and this medicinal mushroom into our daily diet and fill in the nutritional gaps. Though Spirulina is loaded with high levels of protein vitamins and vital amino acids, it has an unpleasant odour and taste.
I believe that life should be a pleasant ride. Hence, I began looking for ways to mask the smell and taste of Spirulina without compromising the nutritional value. For instance, when I add a pinch of cinnamon to Spirulina chocolates, it not just tastes good but also improves the nutritional value of the chocolate.
Likewise, my mind is almost constantly analyzing ingredients that can be mixed and matched to make life nutritious and delicious at the same time. Currently, I am also planning to collaborate with chefs to have food containing these ingredients. I am already in talks on the same.

In your website you have mentioned about other products in a similar genre. Could you elaborate on this for us?
I would like to add products that make use of Moringa, Ashwagandha, Shatavari and more of such things to my repertoire. Product development and innovations are in process for the products with Moringa. I have already sent across samples for this. This was possible because of the interest shown towards this product. We could launch this within two months.

Moving forward, what are your plans for the company?
Like I mentioned earlier; I am planning to bring out recipes like Jams and others using these products. A lot of interesting things are currently happening within the company.
But I still believe in taking one step at a time. Even the best laid out plans which do not convert into the pragmatic step is just paperwork. So, I like discovering myself on the go.
